In January, 2008, members of the School of Religion faculty teamed with the Center for Spiritual Life and Wholeness and Campus Ministries to address a felt need on the LLU campus for an interdisciplinary program connecting faith and the arts. Thus, Faith & Film was born.
During the Thursday lunch hour students and faculty convene in Randall Visitor's Center during to watch a film and discuss its implications for modern Christian life. Each film is hosted by a faculty moderator from the School of Religion who selects the film clips that will be shown and inspires a discussion about what is shown.
Films screened thus far include "The Matrix," "A Beautiful Mind," "Hotel Rwanda," "Fields of Mudan," and "Amazing Grace." Faith & Film is co-sponsored by the Center for Spiritual Life and Wholeness, LLU Campus Ministries, and the LLU School of Religion.
